Third Element Engineering + Design · Laramie, Wyoming · Since 2012

Structural engineering, building design and inspections in Laramie and across Wyoming and northern Colorado.

I'm Amy Evans, a licensed structural engineer. Whether you're adding on, building new or buying, I help you get the project right, from the first sketch to the last site visit.

Here's what I can do for your project.

Tell me what you're trying to do. I'll tell you what it needs, what it will cost, and what happens next, in plain terms and in writing.

Who I work with

Homeowners

Additions, remodels, a wall you want gone, a new house, or a crack you want explained.

Buyers and agents

A clear structural answer before closing. Houses in Laramie and Cheyenne book online.

Contractors

Engineering for your project, quick answers to field questions, and site visits in writing.

Commercial owners

Inspections, repairs and changes to existing buildings, quoted per project.

How a project starts

Simple, and in writing.

  1. Tell me about the project. Call, email or book a consultation.
  2. I take a look. On site, or from your photos and drawings.
  3. You get a written proposal. The scope, and a fixed fee for each phase, before any work starts.
  4. I see it through. Drawings, permit questions and site visits, with the same engineer start to finish.

Who you'll work with

You work with me.

No hand-offs and no account managers. The engineer who answers your first call is the one who looks at your project, signs your drawings or report, and picks up the phone when your contractor has a question.
